By golly, old man kolly (kohli) is stiil there? also hardik can't hit, can't captain, and is liable to break down when bowling. axar is utterly 1D, and can't bowl more than 1-2 overs

Kohli is good as opener, better than Gill as of now. Also fit enough to field.

 

Axar can bat at 8 and be decent bowler if he bowls with new ball.

Parag is barely a cameo batsman, barely good for 20-25. After years of persistence, he has still failed to find a place in Rajasthan Royals spot even though he hardly any competition from anyone for that spot. Which senior player is inferior to him? None.

That is T20's. Im only talking about ODIs and he's earned a shot with his performances

Dunno about that. sudharsan may be able to match him. moreover, we don't need a consolidator who takes up a lot of balls. what we need is someone like pshaw, but with better fitness and attitude, who can score at 150+ SR from the get go

We don't have it. Kishan is not the answer. 

 

Kohli works as an opener if other opener is attacking. It will ensure no top order collapse. He is still good at finding gaps etc so won't get stuck

My bad. this is T20 side. Too early i would say. T20 is all about form. We have to wait and see. We might even see some new names. Suyash, Varun, Harshit Rana, Madhval.. so many names might crop up before that. Some names may disappear too.
