Leggie
Why no one speaks about Deepak Chahar ??? He seems a potent batsman... Remember the match he won for the team with his batting against a strong Australian side ?? plus he swings the bowl early on... Link to comment

He doesn't care much about internationals. He just gets fit enough to play half the IPL season and goes back to taking rest until next season. Why bother when you can make 14 crores every season in the IPL Leggie, Norman and singhvivek141 1 2 Link to comment

Competent batsman and will make sure 6 overs of new ball taken care of and can bowl 2-3 in the middle Allows you to save Bumrah for middle / death. Chahar also got winning mentality as he has won multiple IPL titles Link to comment

Nikhil_cric
Deepak Chahar can give 4 overs with the new ball if we are lucky lol. If we can't fast-track Gurnoor Brar, Mohsin Khan kind of bowlers, it will be difficult to win anything. Link to comment

Used to routinely get thrashed at the death. But dropping Umesh for Ashwin in the CT final is probably the second biggest blunder by Kohli that day, next to choosing to field first. Umesh bullied them in the group game... Link to comment

Sooda
Hope in a few months this conversation will move on to Harshit Rana, Raj Hangargekar, maybe Atit Sheth and the seemingly bunch of left arm spinners who can bat (although each suited to different formats): Mulani, Saurabh Kumar, Manav Suthar, Nishant Sindhu latter two maybe need 1 or 2 seasons. Abhishek as a batting all rounder Edited September 7, 2023 by Sooda Link to comment

Thats why Sunil Gavaskar has been so vocal on this issue... Too much money and glamour in IP is actually spoiling alot of potential players... Even Kamlesh Nagarkoti was a good prospect along with Shivam Mavi, both of these guys could bat down the order as well... But both of them faded too fast... Link to comment
