Yeah don't underestimate them based on today's result. They just mentally checked out after Gill's initial onslaught. We may play a different Pakistan in the final.

Why is everyone discounting SL. They are on a 13-match winning streak in ODI after their last encounter with BD.

" Pak team looks better than Indian team" , this myth was badly exposed today . How can a team be good with very unreliable opening pair , weak middle order , depending mainly on a very overrated batter , no quality spinner in the team . Indian team is far better , much balanced, particularly after the return of Bumpra .

Not long ago there was a complaint India relies a lot on Dhawan, Kohli, Rohit. They were in form. Indian fans were insecure. Now Pakistan relies on Fakar, Imam, Babar much inferior version of India. So Pakistan will face more embarrassment any time they chase big totals or they are up against better attacks.

Not a chucker.  He's a round arm slinger - lower arm than even Malinga.

They had their worst day. Literally, everything that could have gone wrong went wrong. Injuries, poor decisions by Babar, team selections etc.

It's like someone calling us Test minnows after 36 all out.

They still have a world-class pace attack and good reserves.  They should cut a spinner and Faheem Ashraf and get a couple of fast bowlers and back a 4 pronged pace attack with Shaheen, Naseem, Rauf, Wasim being the first choices. they can't afford defensive spinners in the middle.

That batting lineup is still good enough to score 300 by batting conventionally - starting slow and looking to progressively score quicker.

Their best chance is to target 300 and back their fast bowlers to defend it. They cannot play the 350 takes on 350 game even with so called all-rounders like Faheem Ashraf.

I think their ceiling is 250. Anything above that is difficult for their batting order.
