The white ball team was stuck in the same rabbit hole till 2022 T20 WC.

There were many talks about the change in approach but nothing happened.

 

It's only post T20 WC 2022 failure, we were forced to change the approach.

Yes but at least it did change within a year of Rohit's captaincy. Kohli had the white ball team for 5 years and simply continued the same stagnant ideas that we had under last years of MS.

PCB is like their shameless YouTubers and ex players looking to please the crowd for engagement. They dropped their stars so now their public will be placated for a few days that they took some tough stance and are favoring young talent etc. over shameless . 

 

PCB has no clue and is run by a bunch of fools while their ex players are busy fighting each others. All loud voices who were trashing babar will suddenly cry for him. 

 

That is what happens in dysfunctional organization when you hang your everything on just one sport that the crowd likes.

 

BIggest outcome of this is it pits players against each other. Babar and Afridi are against each other due to captaincy musical chairs. Now dropping both just after Shan MAsood did well in one match (who was equally bad throughout last few years) makes him their enemy.

Anwar was mediocre against Aus and SA. Arguebly the best bowling sides of his era (Eng and NZ werent as strong yet).
Avg 23 vs Australia and 17 vs SA in ODI's. He was good vs Australia in Tests though.

Inzi too was a flop show against both SA and Aus in both formats.

Younis was again good in Tests, but poor averages in ODI's.

Babar in comparison has a decentish record in either formats. Averages at worse 35 against every decent opposition in Tests. ODI's numbers are also not bad either.

Not gonna talk about Miandad, we all know what he was and how he benefitted with the rigged rules.
