In our societies it’s more a group things. How else can you explain Marathas, the erstwhile rulers of this state claiming to be disadvantaged and demanding a huge share of State level reservations? Same phenomenon, at a different scale. same is the case with the land owning Jaats in Haryana. Claiming to be a victim has become a life skill. They have been sucked into a vicious cycle of alcoholism and drugs. Difficult to see them break out of it.
