In our societies it’s more a group things. How else can you explain Marathas, the erstwhile rulers of this state claiming to be disadvantaged and demanding a huge share of State level reservations? Same phenomenon, at a different scale. same is the case with the land owning Jaats in Haryana. Claiming to be a victim has become a life skill. Recently, some Muslim majority town in US banned pride parade or indoctrination of kids in schools to the Trans community on grounds that it hurts their religious sentiments and the usually vocal liberal activists went awol and supported the Muslim community. ravishingravi 1
