Needs to be dropped, play domestic and make a comeback, but that will only happen if he has any sort of passion left.

Ashwin should groom him before calling it a day. His competition is Tanush kotiyan. Both have great future

His batting style is suited for middle order. Should come before Pant, ideally. But our management is too rigid

let him play on better wickets and see. Sundar has a horrible FC bowling record. Im not sold

his batting is solid but of no use if batting at no 9

That says a lot about our batting stars who struggled against bowlers which a mediocre SL team hammered all over the place.

He is one of the greatest accidental discovery. I have to say real fluke discovery. Injury to Jadeja/Ashwin gave him a chance at the Gabba. THen that 95 against England.  He always delivers in crunch moments. So many clutch games be in IPL or some international LOIs. Because of injuries earned bad reputation. He has ice cool temperament. Ideal foil for someone like Rishabh Pant. Will we forgive his occasional no shows. He is anything but a choker. He has handled pressure significantly better than some of our so called seniors. Hope we identify players who may not have stellar domestic record but has the ability to step up in internationals. We have to iterate all the under-19 players that have come through in the last few seasons.  I liked the look of Sachin Das from 2024 under-19 batch.  Saumy Pandey is another guy. Raghuvanshi is another guy i like the look of. I have some hope from Dhull. Let us see how he evolves. india cannot wait for these grandpas retire. They should be sysetmatically introduced in low profile games
