Trichromatic
I guess this is first time in history that a team has 4 bowlers in top 4 rankings of ICC. 3 batsmen are in top 6. Forever Indian and Vijy 1 1 Link to comment
Trichromatic
Jadeja is at #19 in bowlers rankings, Iyer #18, KL #24 in batsmen rankings. Link to comment
Austin 3:!6
These rankings are meaningless....Gill flopped in this world cup when much more was expected from him. Indian batting is still all about Rohit and Kohli. jf1gp_1, putrevus and Vijy 3 Link to comment

Hope he does something in the KOs. express bowling 1 Link to comment

sugumarrising
Is this the first time 4 bowlers from the same team are in the top 10 odi rankings? Link to comment

Yes considering his ability...more was expected from him. After the starts Rohit gave, he had the option to stats paddle without pressure but failed to do so. Only against Pakistan he looked good and that too for a short time. Edited November 8, 2023 by Austin 3:!6 Link to comment

Looked good against almost everyone tho except Eng. Pak, NZ, SA as well. Pak and NZ lost on the slog. Hopefully statpads against Netherlands to get ready for KO. Austin 3:!6 1 Link to comment

That he was not ruled out thus allowing the TM to go ahead with their plan A is to his credit. Could he have done better? Sure, but let's put things in perspective. Link to comment
Gollum
Gill lol, all hype, very little substance. Even Babar as #1 had more credibility. Vijy 1 Link to comment
Number
Gill still needs to find ways to score big against good attacks. He starts well then finds a way to get out. Link to comment
putrevus
Gill has to do more, hopefully , he will play important knocks in semifinal and finals. Link to comment

putrevus
Gill had terrific season before he got sick. There is a reason why he is number one in rankings , just like Siraj. Both of them have not delivered big during world cup yet.Let us hope their best is yet to come and we will see them in knock outs. Link to comment
Trichromatic
Gill will be Ponting of 2003. Link to comment
Frustrated
Gill being ranked 1 is mostly due to his earlier run of scores (in Asia Cup and the bilateral series vs Aus). Link to comment
vvvslaxman
Don't care for ranking. But this Gill one is very much handy to troll these padosis. Link to comment
