CG
Just now, maniac said: good player but more of a Damien Martyn, Mike Hussey level than a Steve Waugh; Ponting level Head is a lucky mofo. The way he bats inside the line like tailender he can't be compared to Martyn or Hussey.Today also he was extremely lucky to not get bowled . Ironically he will struggle most in Australia with pace and bounce vivek04 and maniac 1 1 Link to comment

Ironically he will struggle most in Australia with pace and bounce We tend to struggle against novelty factor,Head wasn't been up against us much Still with so much technology at service and support staff there we should have figured out his weakness We are so orthodox or dihati in this aspect Even Bangladesh would have done better in chalking out plans for each of opposition players This was one of the weakest Aus side and we let them go with the WC trophy without fuss Humiliating Need4Speed, vivek04 and Texan 3 Link to comment

Those were sitting up nicely on this slow pitch Indian TM still thinks we can't play pace and bounce, lol We infact do well in those and that brings our pacers too in the picture Coming on to Head, well he's been assigned a job to go after bowling right from the start leaving opposition stunned much like Jayasuriya and Gilchrist who did it long ago We should have studied him before, but overconfidence on our part also did it It was there in their body language before the match without realising it is Australia who raise their game several notches above in KOs Link to comment

vivek04
we let any nobody to become superstar. head was nowhere near a quality batsmen and still brutalized our spinners. we have massive lack of talent in spinning dept. also our batsmen were not courageous and meek in crunch situations. england won a wc just like that by brutilzing the opponents.. vvvslaxman
An inform player making use of his form very well. Let us not forget it took a while for him to get to this stage. He was not this good some time back. Lord 1 Link to comment

Texan
Head can also be a reporter's delight for use in puns. I can see tomorrow's headlines on the lines of... "Indian cricketers played like headless chickens, while Aussies kept their Head!" Link to comment

Gollum
Tbh he's lucky Ashwin didn't play both those games. Especially that WTC F, no way would Ash have allowed him to score run a ball 170, no *ing way. Link to comment
