Argentinian economy is so cracked that it led to a generation of people pursuing PhD in economics to investigate "wtf is wrong with our economy". Currently, as a % of graduates, Argentina produces the most economists in the world.

Hahaha ... someone has commented that its the same in West Bengal. We seem to have many left liberal economists from WB

I think India will one day elect a crazy guy like this if all this freebie politics gets out of control,Argentinas massive welfare schemes have decimated their country and we cannot afford this as a growing country.Argentina  once had the best economy in South america but we are just a developing economy with the worlds highest population.

It makes sense to talk to local Argentians.

Media especially globally uses names like left, right which really cannot apply well universally.

Just  fear-mongering is classic tactic of global media which is heavily controlled, and a monopoly.

So true. Namo is called the Hindu Fundamentalist RW Fascist leader of India by the global media. Little do they know.

Just like most loser Argentinian leaders one of his main objectives is to take ownership of the Falklands. They have never belonged to Argentina, the residents are of British descent and want nothing to do with Argentina and who can blame them. It's a bit like how the Pakistani leaders always use Kashmir as a distraction when things are going bad for them.

I have spoken to few of them. This is just Argentinians throwing kitchen sink at the problem. Inflation is 140%. 40% of population is below poverty. It's an insane meltdown over three decades. This is a vote to burn the system down.

Rough gist: This is a terrible choice, except that all the alternatives are worse.

Same in India ... Modi vs the alternatives like Pappu, Mamta, Akhilesh , Stalin...
