Starters heading home, Aus C team left:

 

After having lost the first two matches, Australia have made further changes to their squad with Steven Smith and Adam Zampa having already boarded the return flight. They will soon be joined by Glenn Maxwell, Josh Inglis, Marcus Stoinis and Sean Abbott, who're all expected to play their last match tonight.

I was kind of surprised that Steve Smith stayed back for first 2 T20s. Being an elite batsman, why would you even want to even play these matches just 4 days after winning the world cup?

he wants to be in the frame for IPL selection, no other reason otherwise...

If Gaikwad doesn't score today, i expect him to be out once Iyer comes next game. It will be uphill task for him to be in T20 WC task after that meaning only insane IPL would make a case of that.
