with wet balls and he was not sure whether to pitch it ...

Isn't this the kind of thing that the coaches have to plan for and let the bowlers know how to bowl under each condition?

Like before the match, and again before the innings starts, let him know that due to these conditions and his particular strengths, his best chance of success is to bowl in this particular way.

And wouldn't they practice with wet balls so they're better prepared?

All this seems like basic professionalism that the coaches should provide.

This guy continues to be an enigma. One day bowls like a pie chucker. Suddenly on another day bowls match winning stuff. He did that in Trivandrum when reduced SA to 9/5 alongwith Chahar. Hope he improves and achieves consistency and becomes reliable.

That's how any youngsters goes. Consistency comes with experience.

Also he's bowling alongside Avesh,Mukesh types. Will be very good support for Bumrah/Siraj when that happens

He has developed alot. Deserves chances in all formats. Great effort by him. County has improved his skills tremendously.

He is also 6'3, gets bounce and moves the ball. 135 to 140 pace is more than fine.
