One problem that can be exploited in seaming conditions. One, tendency to go across the stumps and closing himself. Ball seaming or swinging back in will give him trouble as he might not be able have unobstructed path to swing his bat through. 3rd ball, 1st ODI.

Otherwise he is probably the  most technically correct young batsman going around.

Is he the most technically compact young batter that we have?  Sure looks the part.

Surely that's Jaiswal.

Sai looks compact but could have an issue playing around the front pad. He just plants it with no care in the world.

Also looks a bit sus against the short ball, doesn't look the most confortable but still better than the likes of Tilak

Tilak is one FC season more early...  He needed to do a Jaiswal before playing top flight cricket.  IPL success at 19-20 is no guarantee for success at Int'l level.

Jaiswal has such good hand eye coordination, power and hand speed that he finds aggressive ways to score off deliveries that others would look to keep out.

Hos technical flaws simply don't stand out imo.

Sai is much more classical in his approach.

Sai Sudarshan can play 1 down as well in ODIs. Rutu is a domestic level player and should stick to IPL to make money .

Gill

Jaiswal

Sudarshan

Iyer

Rinku

Keeper/Bat

That should be our ODI line up for next year. Also it's too early to give up on Tilak Varma. He needs to be in consideration.

No need to play choker king KL any more.

Yeah all 3 are pretty young and have loads of time to improve. We can't be too harsh. I also rate Nehal Wadhera from his IPL stint last year, hope we can see more of him tol

Gaikwad ,I  had high expectations from him but he has failed miserably, he is babar azam type of stats padder and doesnt have a place in Indian line up. Sai is young and looks very promising. This is not even a comparison.

Gaikwad is no babar Azam...

With all due respect Azam is a very good batsmen and comparing a gaikwad with him is little harsh...

Gaikwad is strictly a T20 batsmen .. that too on flat tracks and pathetic attitude

Pls keep him away from Indian cricket
