I am not sure why they have chosen KS Bharat as spare wicketkeeper when you could have picked S Samson.

 

I would pick P Krishna over Mukesh as 3rd seamer.

4 hit the deck seamers seems too many. One of them will surely be under-bowled.. Play Ashwin instead of Thakur

We get 5 proper bowlers and Ashwin and Jadeja are good bats for tests. 

 

Please no Mukesh or Thakur. Dont play them for the heck of playing a Pacer or some runs from Thakur.

I think we don't stand any chance of winning the test series no matter what playing11 we put together.   SA hv gone with full strength squad (unlike their odi side).  Rabada, Ngidi and Jansen are all in the squad.  This trio destroyed us on our last tour barely a couple of yrs ago.

Unless we pick tall bowlers and lefties we won't win.

We won't select harshit tyagi etc so it will be tough now. 

We probably won't even pick rinku washy etc. Cause kohli and other useless boys will want to play.

Batting looks paper thin to say the least,so many FTBs in that lineup who cannot play the moving ball,only hope is the bowlers over perform and give us a chance.Prasidh should play over Shardul.

From the Saffers, Rabada and Ngidi- both are not fit I guess. ( for the first test atleast )

How has Gill become a shoe-in in Test cricket is beyond me really.. he has done pretty much nothing since his debut series in Australia. 

 

He just doesn't have the game for tests right now. That too SENA..

Winning the toss is must in Centurion...  It will be a nightmare to bat last there with Pitch getting spiced up & all kinds of variable bounce will make life difficult 

 

Rohit should closely look at toss coin and don't take any chance with Saffers...  We have lost every toss on tour so far

Shardul over Ashwin...  If there is one country where Ash is beyond useless it is SA.

They will probably add Abhimanyu Easwaran  who is in A squad in SA with Sai Sudarshan also.
