Does this count?

Yesterday, I had been to a Shankar Ehsan Loy concert in Atlantic city, Hard Rock Live. They played all their famous hits. What an amazing singer Shankar is. he performed the breathless song, even at a higher or faster, tempo, amazing to hear live. He’s one of my faite singers along with Sonu, Nigam, Arijit, KK, Udit, Sanu.

Back home after travelling around Europe for the past month.

- Austria: Vienna + Salzburg

- Slovakia: Bratislava

- Czech Republic: Prague

- Germany: Munich + Nuremberg + Neuschwanstein

- Netherlands: Amsterdam

- Denmark: Copenhagen

- Norway: Oslo + Bergen + Trolltunga + Preikstolen + Lofoten Islands

Highlights:

  1. Mozart Opera at the Vienna State Opera. Worth the experience
  2. Salzburg looks like a postcard. Not a blade of grass out of place
  3. Bratislava old town is compact and easy to walk around
  4. Prague looks like something out of fairy tale. Especially at night when they turns the gas lamps on in the old quarter
  5. Munich and its WW 2 history
  6. The Nazi rally grounds at Nuremberg + court room where the Nazi leadership (Herman Gorring + others) were put on trial + Nuremberg old town
  7. Neuschwanstein castle legit looks like fairy tale castle
  8. De Wallen in Amsterdam. Eye opening for sure
  9. Copenhagen and the whole Scandinavian vibe
  10. The fjords near Bergen, like OMG.
  11. Trolltunga hike
  12. Preikstolen hike

Above everything else, the Lofoten Islands. You have mountains that rise vertically from the sea. Seen nothing in life ever like it.

I was in Lofoten during the midnight sun. 24 hour sunlight. One of a kind experience for sure.

Train journey from Munich to Salzburg and Neuschweinstein castle is very scenic. Cable car rides in summer is a treat to your eyes

@EnterTheVoid..did you trek any of the hills of Alps? Germany does have a quite a few cold war listening posts

I did one of the treks near Neuschwanstein.

I didn't get a chance to see the 'Eagles Nest', Hitler's retreat in the Bavarian Alps.

The two treks I did and that I wanted to do were in Western Norway, in Fjordland. Trolltunga and Preikestolen.

Did a fair bit of trekking in Scotland.

This is enroute to Arthur's Seat. Decided to run/jog up all the way. Let's just say that I have a lot to work on my fitness.

This is from the summit. And that is me (shadow).

Read up about King Arthur and his knights and the associated legends. He comes across as a fool, tbh.

This is enroute to Eilean Donan or Kuch Kuch Hota Hai castle. The driving around in Scotland was the best part of the trip.

Videos from the FIFA World Cup in Miami.

Goal from a direct kick. England vs France. https://storage.to/ug9S104wT

National Anthems. https://storage.to/su7LOlVNY

France training. https://storage.to/koZmmDkHO

I didn't enjoy the game. The sport is dull.

However, the atmosphere was fun. Far better than what I've experienced in India for WC games.

PS: The link for these videos expires in 7 days. Help me upload it here please?

Have been doing a bit of travelling the last few months.

Covered the Scottish Highlands. And was in Miami for an event. Managed to catch the FIFA game there.

Great photos.

I was in Stavanger, Norway for the Norway - Brazil game. Didn't plan it that way, it just happened.

Stavanger is near the town where Haaland was born. This dude is a real life viking.

I'm not really into football and I totally got behind Norway. The crowd + atmosphere was top notch.
