Wasim Jaffers team is most likely but KL  may make it over Samson

My India squad for T20 WC: 1. Rohit (C) 2. Jaiswal 3. Kohli 4. SKY 5. Pant (WK) 6. Samson (WK) 7. Hardik 8. Dube 9. Rinku 10. Jadeja 11. Kuldeep 12. Chahal 13. Bumrah 14. Siraj 15. Arshdeep

V.likely if they decide to pick extra bowler then either Sanju or Rinku have to be left-out.

3 spinner, 3 Pacers may be want to add a pacer here Siraj is not at his top-game for sometime now. Avesh could make it.

Here is the problem when u select 18 member squad in other series, you donot have to think much about the final combination now with ICC events with only 15 members allowed they are not able to figure out 15. And player like Pandaya and Jadeja become v.v.important

Man - I hope we don't lose to some lulu country like Ireland in T20 WC. That will be embarrassing.

Last time in 2007 we lost to the Bangles there in first match.

I don't want them to lose to Ireland. But if they lose i won't be regretting. I will just say "Told you so" and move on

According to Cricinfo, the likely squad is

Rohit

Jaiswal

Kohli

SKY

Sanju

Pant

Pandya

Dube

Rinku

Jadeja

Axar

Kuldeep

Bumrah

Arshdeep

Avesh/Siraj

Joke that India is only looking to pick 3 fast bowlers especially with the bowling form of Pandya.

Rinku Singh has been expected to be our finisher for WCT20 and has done well so far for India in this role. But his lack of form in the IPL is concerning. Today was a really good chance. He came early. No scoreboard pressure. But he let it slip.

Should he be picked?

Yes,

Let's not go with IPL performance only. Rinku has performed so well so far in internationals. He has shown the ability of not choking so far in internationals.

I thought you were the one who discovered him here in ICF. Why doubt now? He's a must as a finisher. Dube ondu goobe koorisabahudu. (Dube can be a failure)

T20 World Cup: Hardik, second wicketkeeper's slot on agenda

Paid for by Kela PR machinery.

"Despite Samson's impressive performances for Rajasthan Royals as their captain this season, marking the first time in over a decade he's shown such consistent form for his IPL team, his batting at No. 3 isn't likely to secure him a spot on the Indian team.
Another school of thought is that someone like Samson, who has 25 T20Is under his belt but an average of just 20 and a strike rate of around 135, should not be considered based on just one good IPL season.
In case of Rahul, it can be said that one senior member of the coaching staff will certainly go all out to push for his inclusion but many believe that the stylish right-handed batter's approach in T20 cricket remains archaic."

Hit-job on Sanju. One senior member of the coaching staff => Dravid!

Express News is reporting that Selectors and TM are meeting to decide on Sanju and Gill.

They want a Keeper who could bat as lower middle order batter and Sanju got all his runs at no.3 and 4 in this IPL.

Gill if they need an extra opener, So here come KL he can open and well and have been batting lower down the order in ODis.

Do not think there is anything to do with Pandaya, he is v.impt , else Ind will have to field 5 proper bowlers who can not bat and 5 batters who cannot bowl + wkt keeper.

This is why carrying 18 member team everywhere even in home series was not good idea, there was no way they could have sorted a proper 15 member squad and a playing 11 which works in all condition.

TM and seletors have been meeting multiple times in past few weeks and spilling the beans and then rejecting that there was no meeting.

Futile to think about this T20 World cup. Our team will not be based on the time but past sell by date.  Too many sure shot players who should just not be there for today and tomorrow's shake.

Rohit, Virat, KLR, Jadeja, Pandya, Axar and even Siraj, Arshdeep and god forbid Chahal.

I have decided not to invest too much mental and emotional energy in this. Just enjoy good games that we get.
