he's got to be the best going right now. shastri was disappointing last week in the closing moments of the win, almost like the emotion got to him, just a meek 'it's india'. to be fair he did call the yuvraj six sixes very well. and that reminds me, bumble is very good too

Both him and Atherton are masters at their craft, enjoy their Sky podcasts. They aren't jingoistic tbh, just that their humour can be a bit dry and hard to understand for desis. They don't hate Indian cricket, may have fascination for poyzzz but they can call a spade a spade even if the target is Eng or Pak. Both appreciate good cricket no matter who plays.

There should be an ICC Elite commentators group.  The first member should be Ian Bishop.  It's a shame we only hear him in ICC tournaments or Windies matches.  Pommie is good to as you say.  I actually don't mind Wasim Akram either, his insights on fast bowling are always informative.

 

Shastri and Gavaskar should be banned from commentary for life.

Yea other than mulla nasir over exaggeration of poyz and putting zimbabar jabardashti in every sentence when kohli is mentioned, he is good. I prefer Artherton over him.

Lol at akram…. The guy is one of the most boring commentators him and bekar yunis… they just state the obvious.

Slightly off topic but Jatin Sapru did a wonderful job on the Hindi comms while calling the SKY catch.

 

But then Sidhu ruined the winning moment with his poetic diarrhoea.

Problem with Naseer is not calling Indian games. It is the excessive jingoistic calling about England games. 
 

Atherton is very balanced and he is very good in analyzing the game.

 

To be fair their podcast is very very good. TMS used to be good but not any more.
