Yes and they have lived most of their life in Almora. His grandfather started badminton in Almora. His father is his coach.

Yeah his father was his childhood coach.

But he is Bong, just say it.

Nonsense bs spouted.

India has a vast gene pool. Plenty of strong athletic guys out there. We just have issues with corruption and facilities.

Hockey result showed our class.

We need mental conditioning though.

Yes. Our Hockey team is one of the fittest teams even in Hockey and there are Europeans, South Americans, East Asians there.

Dhoni is not from Ranchi?

He was born in Ranchi where his father was posted but his native place is Almora, Uttarakhand. He recently visited his village sometime back.

Already said yes for that. I think living in hills has helped him. It works wonders for endurance. Living in low oxygen levels.

Neeraj Chopra too. Been following him since 2016 when he had created the World Record at U20 level. Had told my friend that this guy would medal up at the Olympics, probably a bronze or silver. Freaking guy won the Gold!

Neeraj is a freak of all freaks.

May be if they living there since his grandfather's generation, his mom's side can be a pahadi. He does have those features. I am just guessing, it doesn't matter really.

Belgium vs Argentina 3-3 draw. India finishes 2nd in the group.

We will face either Germany or GBR in QF.

Belgium stepped off the gas or ? Argies are good though. Great defensively from what I saw

Same, following since long before the gold...2 things were noticable at that time 1. Golds at all levels (junior levels included) 2. His long hair.

In hockey Holland is something else but I don't think there is that much difference between Eng/Ger and even Spain for that matter.

We have work cut out for us but Eng/Ger are similar to Aus and India does get better as tourney goes along.

Kal women's  individual archery event. Aur nahi saha jaa raha mujhse prabhu.

This might be a good sign - good things happen when all hope is lost. Like it is darkest before dawn etc....

@Kron will be watching (Bhajan Kaur)

And so will Atanu das(for his wife, Deepika):cantstop:

Bhajan is clutch, she doesn't miss 9 much but she too can't hit 10s at will. A SF for her will be good though.
