NCAA D1 product though, from 2017. A similar NCAA guy from San Marino narrowly beat Deepak Punia last time in repechage bronze medal match. So better be careful, those guys are intense and go at 110% even if they may lack the technique of Japs. NCAA D1 champion means approach with caution even if that person is washed up.

Congrats to nadeem. He was clutch. 

 

Neeraj too. No need to feel distraught. Both are amazing athletes.

 

I had a feeling nadeem can upset him given he has Pb of 90 plus. He is a monster. Both are monsters.

More about Nadeem, villagers collected money to send him for training and Olympics. What an achievement by him. 


He is a proper Bollywood story. Look at Neeraj. He looks like a world class athlete with his confidence. Arshad probably has 4 kids, works in his khet on weekdays and practices on weekends in his khet with a local coach from his pind. Man what a story. Deserves a  biopic

For a country like India, think more about number of medals instead of number of golds. 10 medals with no gold across 8 sports will be better than 4 medals with 3 golds across 2 sports. * the table. 

 

Countries like USA, China, Australia can worry about golds, we are not at that stage yet.
