Chirag-Satvik looked rusty and lacked their usual sharpness throughout the campaign. On song, they could have put that Malaysian pair away easily but not to be.

Satwik made too many service errors. Like 8-9 errors, not good enough at this level

Intuit dome will be used for hosting basketball in LA 2028. That stadium looks dope.

Cricket should target two medals. Women cricket medal is tricky but a bronze faceoff vs NZ is quite possible.

 

Shooting goal should atleast be three medals. We got 3 medals and 3 fourth places this time so this should be quite achievable. Manu Bhaker will once again lead us.

 

Athletic : Neeraj Chopra will target Gold so at minimum I am expecting a medal from him.

 

Badminton: Lakshya sen will be 4 year richer in experifnce and stronger. We can expect a medal  from a prime Lakshya. We can also expect more players to emerge in the next years since badmjnton scene is quite strong. Two medals realstically.

 

Wrestling: All our current wrestlers are young and more will emerge. No doubt about it. Two medals is not a far cry.

 

Archery : Bomerdeva and Bhajan are young and four year of solid international experience can lead us to atleast a medal in Archery.

 

Adding all of above, its 11 medals and that should be good. Also these are athletes and sports that we know. We can count of some unknown prodigy getting us a medal from no where. For example a weightlifter can emerge in the next 4 years or maybe somone from Boxing or maybe Murali shreeshankar from Athletics.

 

My prediction is 10+ and we should be happy if we manage that.

7th gold for Japan in wrestling out of 16. Will probably win one more. They have absolutely smashed it in freestyle wrestling.

This is why tapping multiple medal sport is so so necessary.

Hockey and Cricket will only get you 1 or 2.

Its expensive but the city benefits a lot because of the additional infrastructure built for the games. I dont know if its possible because Delhi's terrible air quality.
