He has only played 6 games total in those countries, last of which was when he was 18-19. He has improved in last 2 years and can utilise good conditions

Infact averaging 32 in Pak despite such roads shows he is not that bad.

He has played a total of 19 matches so 6 is 1/3rd of his career. He averages 54 this year

And funny that with his fake hype now you believe in his fake age too.

Most of his hype came from his fake age, which we know for a fact that it is fudged by 4 years min.

He's still young even adding that.

There was a news article in their Dawn newspaper covering young Pak cricketers back in 2015-16 which quoted his age as 16.

On bowler friendly pitch also they lost to BD in the 2nd Test.

That wasn't a turner, although they have no spinners to make use of it either!

He is at most 25-26 now. Thats still young.

That average just reflects the pitches. Everyone is similar except that 2nd Test v BD.

Not saying he is great or anything, but just watching him tells he is ahead of other options in Pakistan.

Yep. He is probably their best seamer currently. At least in Tests.

He may not be great or anything but he can at least do a job.

Huge difference between making test debut as a 16yo and as a 20yo. 'Being good at just 16' was his main selling point which had  created his hype. Otherwise he's just an average pacer even now.

Ofcourse. I'm just he's better than other options in Pakistan. Clearly better than current Shaheen too.

Since ICC took tough stance on chucking , Pakistanis havent produced any Spinner.

Since Technology came and ball tampering nearly got stopped, They havent produced any swing bolwer.

Only area they are still okish is producing phast bowlers who can bowl over 140 ocasionally just for peak years (2-3 max). May be , anti doping

Right, still not a turner. Their main issue is, like most have said, they simply don't have the people/bowlers to take those wickets!

and batsmen to tackle them. They can't even bat twice on roads smh

Someone wants views from India

It's no hidden fact that most ex pak cricketers hv been surviving on indian viewership for quite sometime.    Despite being aware of this, we can't help but keep watching their videos (especially when pak gets humiliated) coz of the massive entertainment that we get.
