Knight Riders will bully the rest of the teams again. Such a strong core.

Rana and Ramandeep for a combined 8cr is just cheating at this point. The latter esp for his price is a much better option than Reddy in this format

My thoughts exactly.

They would still need Phil salt who was an explosive opener. Shreyas captained them well. And starc obviously a big match player. I think they will go for these players fiercely in the auction.

some Big players in auction pool

Shreyas

Pant

KL

Arshdeep

Chahal

Maxwell

Livingstone

Miller

De Kock

I hope MI gets chahal man. He will be the missing piece of their spin puzzle.

Why hasn't MI retained an uncapped player? They know they can't RTM a capped player, right?

Interesting share of purse - 49crore almost split equally between SKY, Pandu and Rohit, almost to say that the franchise sees them as equals.. Only Bumrah gets a higher amount and rightfully so.

Will be interesting to see who captains them

There's a popular saying to denote grandeur that one "spends money like water".

Punjab has 110 crore in their kitty and they should change the saying to spend money like Preity Zinta in an auction.

RCB might go aggressively for Pant.

Small ground, his one handed mishits can go for sixes.

They need a keeper and potentially a captain.

They have the second biggest auction purse just behind Punjab.

When our coach decides to "viral fever" out a fast bowler to keep him uncapped for IPL, what else do you expect?

Don't forget running away to reach IPL early when we were 2-1 in england where we have now not won for 17 years.

And then we came back months later and turned it into 2-2 draw after all momentum was gone

Some more names that might go for big money:

Curran

Rabada

Starc

Green (not sure of his availability)

Rachin

Venky Iyer

Boult

fitteh moo.. Prabhsimran is an overweight liability.. they should have retained Arshdeep

Prabh is uncapped. Arsh is capped. Different price caps. They can RTM arsh in the auction.

Should've retained salt over narine.

Think rinku has a strong loyalty towards KKR because he definitely would've got more than 13crs in auction.

Should have retained Ashutosh instead of Prabh.

But with Prabh, they got an Indian keeper for cheap. Maybe that was the reason

I was hoping Rashid to go to another franchise. GT is kind of boring. He should have asked for 20 crore. I think he is too humble.

I don't see many players going for big bucks as some team have as little as 45 crore left.

I also hope someone like Farooqi goes to another team then SRH. He is better than many big name pacers.

And they should thank Gambhir for keeping Rana uncapped, but giving Mayank and Reddy the cap.
