It's our so called "experienced" seniors who're more like passengers who have taken all the wind out of the proverbial sail. You don't look forward to or get excited about the prospect of seeing couple of walking wkts in your top 4.

 

Why do you think our T20 team looks so exciting and is so watchable. Coz it's purged of seniors and the only passenger is Avesh Khan who was dropped in the last game. Do the same thing in ODIs and Tests, and we'll be fine in those formats too.

 

"Performance over Experience" should be our motto.

Yeah I remember Dravid got bowled in 6/7 times in 8 innings in Aus 2012. He had a very good English tour 6 months before that. Even a slight decline in reflexes can affect performances at this level exponentially.

To be fair Dravid was always kind of weak in Australia, only 2004 series was exception. Kohli used to be great in Aus, so there's still some hope
