India or any sensible govt has war gamed all scenarios. Trump is no one's saga bhai. But his utterances also dont mean much. Everything can flip in 2 months. People read much too much into what he is doing. 1) He will and has caused recession in US 2) To save himself he is proposing tax cuts 3) Tariffs is already seeming to be a non event at best. It will only damage the economy 4) As an Indian, the only thing we need US on right now is to back us when the heat starts directly with China. Vivek is a grifter who made his fortune by swindling the investors. Him gravitating towards Elon-Trump isn't surprising, its only natural. Even now he is still in their good graces, he's planning to run as a state governor with Trump's endorsement. But the NRI community as a whole needs a wake-up call if they still think the white nationalists are their allies
