I wish Virat, Rohit, Jadeja, Shami, had all retired after the last 50 overs WC, so we could build for the next WC and even this CT 

 

We are burdened with the "seniors" for now , (though to be fair they may still produce the goods in ODIs occasionally)

 

Come next year though they should be dropped and for me this would be a good full strength 11

I like the idea of Jurel in the middle overs as someone who can build an innings, still a skill that's needed in 50 overs

Also..the next world cup is in South Africa so we won't need 3 spinners. Not even 2 on most occasions. 

 

We really need Harshit Rana to become the no.8 we think he is for us to have any chance. I'll also try out Nitish Kumar for the 7 spot with Kuldeep being the only spin option

I think Jurel is potentially better in ODIs, requires an ability to accumulate that Pant can not quite do

 

Don't know if Jurel can but we can give him a run. And he can accelerate, though not to Pant level

I will go with Jurel(as current form suggests),he's a tremendous player can absorb pressure and equally score on those sort of pitches

Kela,Iyer really don't have time
