They don't give turners to opposition. But if you keep plugging you can get wickets. Usually run scoring wicket except on day 1 . Batting will become easier

Just make normal flat pitches with a hint of spin.

Batting first up is just a whole lot tougher than it used to be 5 years ago. 

 

New Zealand have done well despite losing the toss on a greenish pitch.  

 

India would've been bowled out for less than 200.

We have a mental block against them.   Likes of Will O Rourke and Ben Sears would trouble us on a fast surface.

Unless we beat them in NZ it won't go away.

This is Southee's last series as well.

Kiwis doctor pitches only against subcontinent sides.

Compare this Hagley Oval Track with the one against India in 2020.

Kiwaahs have the most spin unfriendly conditions in the world, ahead of even Saf. If they take wickets it is only due to false shots and pitch deteriorating. It is usually not that hot for it to even deteriorate much. It's why they barely produce good spinners.
