I don’t give a flying chapati about his antics, I love all of that in test cricket.

He needs to take wickets, thats it.

He has been impactless in this series apart from the first test, even there he wasn’t actually killing it, Bumrah and Rana bowled better in the first test.

Shows how stats can be deceptive :cantstop:

Akashdeep bowled very well but his numbers are poor.

He has been impactless for a long time now.

Antics look good only when you are doing well. Right now he's in Sreesanth category.

He should be locked in a cage with Sreesanth...I am sure Sree will knock some sense into him.

Atleast that fellow wasted his career coz he irked the captain, this fellow is hell bent on wasting it with the backing of the captain.

Problem is you dont do antics while bowling 15 overs for 70 runs..... even Shrishanth (similar attitude) used to take early wickets while going at 4 r.p.o

Little bit of sledging from a pacer is understandable only if that pacer keeps making an impact with the ball.  Whereas Siraj has been completely off colour for more than a year.  Looks like a dumb**s with all this antics.  His last note worthy performance was in SA (only in 2nd test) on a green juicy pitch (almost a year ago).

Akashdeep is also not a test class bowler.

He is bowling ok for his second overseas match. You're not going to get a fast bowler coming through the ranks in India and start as the finished product overseas. He needs to be played more and given the chance to learn. Siraj has learnt nothing in terms of skill after being given many opportunities and it's now time to send him back to IPL as his comfort zone.

He won't be a sub 25 avg bowler...but can become a 27-28 averaging bowler like Shami.

I don't have high expectations from him...he is bowling as a workhorse who can keep things tight.

He will never be like Shami. Shami is a few notches above him. Akashdeep is lacking pace.
