All Indian pacers should go for strength and conditioning training including Bumrah.

 

Bowling fitness was much better in the Kohli captaincy era.

I am of the view that if Rohit is the captain next test, Bumrah should let the management know I am done with this series, book me a flight from Melbourne itself.

Is that because of fitness or his action though ? Also not everyone has the same ceiling for endurance

.  Those guys have better run ups and actions which allows them to go on for longer.

Bumrah should be definitely rested. With series win impossible, it is better to play attack of Prasidh-Rana-Mukesh. Bumrah has done his part, you just cant keep giving your 200% when shameless losers are not contributing or even showing effort to contribute..

Actually Bumrah and Cummins have bowled virtually the same number of deliveries in this series. No one is even suggesting that Cummins would be rested. Plus he has a tour of Sri Lanka coming up immediately afterwards.

The fact that people in India expect our bowlers not to cope with the same workload routinely managed by the opposition shows one of the key differences between the sides.

Fair point. But if Cummins breaks down they probably have a bench option ready to go whereas we are extremely dependent on this one guy.

Its interesting to see Starc and Siraj have comparable bowling stats in 4 test. Starc has 15 @29.7 and Siraj has 16@ 31.4
