Our best chance was to eke out a draw at MCG and force Aussies to make mistakes and be extra aggressive to try and win the series. Now they'll simply sit back and relax. Fatso came and disrupted his rythm. Washi is wasted down the order. Bat him up. He is capable of doing the Pujara role of playing out 100 balls, not the VVS role of playing with tailenders. Gill at 4. Fake prince to replace Fake King Jurel or Sarfaraz at 5. We have two tailenders in top 6..so we use two all rounders who are good in batting but fifth or sixth bowlers... And therein lies the problem. We need five bowlers and then the batsmen has to do their job.no 7 has to be a all rounder and fifth bowler - or either Jadeja or Washington. Gambhir made sure our best spinner is not available ..so we are *ed there as SCH is spin friendly..so we play Washington. If it's pace friendly..it has to be Rana at no 8 as fourth pacer. Three pacers - Bumrah Prasidh and whoever it is. ..Siraj is done and not effective, Akashdeep is unlucky or whatever..so we are *ed here. Now our top three batsmen are Jaiswal KL and NKR. These three should play. We need a wicket keeper...and Pant probably pips this one despite his stupidity..he looks comfortable. Gill also looks comfortable despite throwing it away. So that leaves only one spot... Go with Padikkal or Jurel rather than Sarfaraz. Else if you can't drop him..go with Kohli.
