This is hilarious Aurangzeb was into knitting , as described in his biography by his own court historians. Knitting only Taqiyah (Muslim cap) . It is not a characterization as these reviewers think. These people in the video don’t like Pratik Borade who kind of dissed the movie as a secular whitewashing. But, he is better than any leftist or mainstream Bolly reviwer. I saw his review and was in two minds to watch it in a theater or not. He is too sanghi even for me. That scene where Sambaji saved a Muslim kid in a war action was not essentially secularism, but in the movie his character was being developed as one who was raised in war and had PTSD. But still missing his mother , Aaiji, it was a fair depiction. Each one sees the movie in his mood and thought process. This following reviwer is a balanced review matching my sensibilities. I normally don't watch any reviews or videos related to bollywood, but I did see his 2 videos on Chhaava, they were good as he was talking about the movie instead of Jingoism or conspiracy theories. I used to lean towards left wing, but what drove me to support Right, is the sheer hypocrisy of leftist ecosystem, I realized they are way more corrupt than Right. Atleast when you are dealing with Right wing, you know what you are dealing with, the thing I appreciate about right wing is they wear there hearts on their sleeves, but Leftists are like a monster hiding behind a mask who will stab you in the back without a second thought. Today when I see some of the tweets for example on Chhaava from not just radical islamists, but a lot of left wing people, and some of the left wings are extreme like INC kerala handle, Swara Bhaskar, I laugh at those idiots thinking, you know how many people sitting on the fence, reading such shitty posts abusing their history, glorifying a monster like Aurangzeb, would say "you know what f*ck this Sh*t, you just made my decision easy". putrevus Posted February 25, 2025 Posted February 25, 2025 Hindutva sentiment must be driving this film's sucess.I doubt film makers of this movie even care about Hinduism.

In reality, they don't. Biggest reason why Bollywood is making such movies is to ride the mood of the nation and earn cash. But, as it's said. Cinema plays a key role in defining the society. Many parts of country wouldn't have even heard the name of Sambhaji Maharaj, let alone knowing his story. It will change now and few % of people may even research on him to know his real story. (I did the same on Kondavam Bheem & Alluri Shri Rama Raju after RRR). There are so much untold, unknown stories of rulers like Bappa Raval, Rana Kumbha, Rana Hammir Singh, Maharana Raj Singh, Vir Durgadas Rathore, Yashwantrao Holkar, Rani Durgavati, Rani Chennamma, Rani Nayki Devi and many more unknown heroes. diga, coffee_rules and putrevus 1 2

I would love well made movies on Lalitaditya, Raja Raja Cholan & Rajendra Cholan, Samudragupta and the Muaryan Empire in general (not Ashoka or Chandra Gupta only unless it is about Chanakya), the Vijayanagara empire - esp around what led to the destruction of Hampi and how it was destroyed for over 6 months by a resident army in the hundreds of thousands, etc. More than just individuals - it would be amazing if our actual culture - especially how the people of the time lived is displayed correctly. Will go a long way to assuaging the self-loathing Indians that our culture only came from the Delhi Sultanate onwards. singhvivek141, ravishingravi and diga 3

Was much better than expected .war scenes as usual was over-dramatized , one should expect it in a movie. I was expecting to see a line or two on Hindavi Swarajya.. got it like 5 times. Wanted to see Aurangzeb say that he wants to convert Sambaji , saw it after all the torture scenes. Sab hai, but what is missing is showing that fight was for Hindus, not saying “This fight is not against any mahzab”. But all was not held back. See the movie only on the big screen. Akshaya Khanna has modulated his voice to sound ruthless to big effect . Torture scenes were adequate, can’t go for too much really to show torn body parts etc. nails, eyes, etc were enough. Songs from ARE are a huge disappointment, BGM just barely adequate.Rashmika has some gutka jubaan dialogue delivered like in Animal, but with not much role, much tolerable. Go for it @Laaloo Agree with you, they could never show how important the real cause was for Sambhaji. Just throwing a few words around doesn't do that justice imo <***Spoiler Alert***> The movie definitely missed a narrator imo, to have someone explain the course of events unfolding, like how the Mughal army moved and why the Marathas attacked them, where and when through the period of 7-8 years. The side characters weren't developed.. So much so when Sambhaji's aide dies you literally feel nothing. BGM is like that of a sports biopic. The movie really kicks in the last 30-40 mins or so, and you see the full scale of Akshay, Vineet and Vicky's acting chops. </***Spoiler Alert***> PS: I have no clue how spoiler tags work on this site. Aliya Rama Raya was betrayed by his own Muslim commanders and was captured and beheaded. His torso was hung at the city’s entrance to defeat the psyche of any Hindu resistance. It was not just Adil Shah of Bahamanis , others from Nizahshah of Ahmednagar and Qutbshah of Golconda also joined forces and fought against Rama Raya in the battle of Talikota. Earlier, all these Muslim rulers were thoroughly defeated and they were forced to have treaties with Krishna Devaraya. Hindu rulers would spare the lives of generals and sultans. KDR even married the daughter of a Muslim ruler to forge peace. Rama Raya had even helped Adil Shah to fight against Nizams, but when it came to deliver the decisive blow, they all joined forces. Captured Rama Raya by deceit and it is said Nizamshah himself beheaded Rama Raya. Hindus should have done proper Shatrubodh and dealt with Muslims with the same ruthlessness . We are inspired by our Dharma and they are inspired by Quran and Hadiths. Later. Muslim rulers plundered and looted regular citizens of Hampi. Looted and destroyed the temples. It is said that loot from Hampi was used to build the Charminar in Hyderabad. It has happened multiple times. There are aftermath of second Battle of tarain as well, where Prithviraj Chauhan was captured, brutally tortured and murdered. It an exact copy of how Chhatrapati Sambhaji was tortured to death. Aurangazeb during his rule, when heard that for the first time when the Rajputs of Mewar, Marwar and Jaipur are planning to strategize together to combat him from North as well. He first poisons the king of Jaipur (Mirza Raja Jai Singh) by using one of the slaves as a bait, then he kills the prince of Marwar (Prithviraj Singh) by gifting him a poison mixed Arabic dress named "Khilayat", and then later killed the king of Marwar (Jaswant Singh) as well and captured her pregnant queen and put her behind the bars. The queen and her infact son (Ajit Singh) was saved by the bravery of Commander-in-Chief or Jodhpur (Durgadas Rathore) and Rana of Mewar (Maharana Raj Singh), where Durgadas Rathore with and army of 500 rajput soldiers destroyed 10000 something Mughal Soldiers and soaked the streets of Delhi in Blood. coffee_rules 1

His correct name is Komaram Bheem. Most telugu people know about him but you are right about lot of untold stories. Bollywood has always portrayed Mughals or even Tipu Sultan in very favorable manner.Just like Tollywood never did any movies depciting the horrible crimes Razakars commited on hindus and hindu women. Sultan salahuddin owaisi and his father had so many ties with Razakars. It is comical to hear his son talk about democracy. singhvivek141 and coffee_rules 2
