Heard that there was Security breach and Rachin Ravindra was tge target of pitch invasion by some fan. 
Its not a issue as its fan only but in Pakistan, You never know.

Goes to justify that BCCI was correct all along about player Security

frankly india look the 4th best team left,way too many questions marks of the all teams left and first time in 3 ICC  tournaments i felt we are not the best team left.

Which match was it? In the tri series or the one against B'desh?

 

The decision to not send the team was right. We've already seen a few pitch invasions and that after calling it "presidential security". Don't think Indian team can ever be safe in Pak.

That's dangerous! It could very well have resulted in a Monica Seles or Srikkanth being assaulted type of situation.

 

How can Pak be so lackadaisical about security? They got an ICC event after 3 decades and this is what they do? Can you imagine even a minor incident and that would be it for Pak. No wonder Pak cricket and the country is circling the drain as don't think anyone takes any responsibility or accountability for anything.

This is true. Our bowling isn't going to stop any of the remaining teams over 50 overs. Rana wouldn't make any of the three squads. Shami is just not the same after the injury.

What exactly is people's problems with Rana? He has delivered whatever chance he got, taken wickets and also done great at death, averages 19 so far in ODI career. 

 

And the funny thing is same guys abusing Rana salivate over the likes of Naseem Shah and call him good.

I don't salivate over Naseem Shah. 

 

Rana is mediocre and inconsistent. Its too early to talk averages for a 5 match career where he hasn't played anyone worthwhile.

 

He can color me surprised if he bothers the top teams consistently.

That's the norm for most Indian fans and BCCI in general. Their expectations is higher for newbies and fringe players than the more tenured and senior players. We're the first to throw youngsters under the bus while continuing to back TTF who're well past their prime and are on decline.

 

Rohit and Kohli shat the bed against NZ at home and in BGT. Kohli has been a non-factor in Tests for ages but the blame goes to youngsters.  Seniors phucked up in 2021 WT20 and it was likes of Varun C and Venky Iyer who paid the price. If we falter in CT in knockouts it won't be Kohli or Rohit who'll be blamed but Harshit, Varun C and fringe players.

 

That has been the BCCI way since ages and it won't change anytime soon.

I guess that's becz most indian fans want Ind to face a team other than Aus in a KO match, for obvious reason.    If Ind loses to NZ, then it will be Ind vs SA SF.

I would rather face this Aus team. Their bowling is ordinary and if you take care of Head, they'll struggle. If you can't beat this Aus team, you can't expect to win a title. At the moment of all the 3 sides remaining, NZ seems to be the best, followed by SA and then Aus. I would let NZ and SA face each other and prefer to take on Aus in Dubai.

Head was out cheaply against Eng.  Yet Aus chased 360 with 2 overs to spare.  It seems in ICC tournaments, Aus (incl. AUS B team too) suddenly becomes invincible.
