Indian independent media may paint the same delusional lopsided narrative for India that the Pak media does for Pak. But that is where the similarities end.

1) Indians display some degree of critical thinking and question the narrative put forth to them. Pakistanis don't.

2) Indians do not engage in wanton acts of terror against Pakistani civilians.

If Pakistani society/Army can't control the jihadis there, the Indian Army is going to have to. If that means war so be it.

India is fighting a defensive war here.

The Indian narrative has failed to gain any traction in Pakistan, as one might have expected.

In fact, Pakistan has managed to counter much of this narrative even on the international stage by asserting several points. It claims to have invited international organisations and foreign governments to investigate freely within its borders. Pakistan argues that institutions like the IMF, EU, and UN are already monitoring its internal security situation, and their continued engagement and financial support indicate that no substantial evidence of state-supported terrorism has been found. Some Pakistanis even admit that terrorist groups exist, but maintain that mere presence does not mean the state allows them to operate freely or supports their activities.

Domestically and abroad, the dominant counter-narrative is that India’s actual goal is to destabilise Pakistan itself, using terrorism as a pretext. A major example often cited is the suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty, which is seen not as a strike against terrorism, but as a direct act of hostility toward the Pakistani state. Many argue that India’s claim of only targeting terrorist camps is undermined by actions like this, which directly impact the nation’s survival and infrastructure.

In such a charged environment, both religion and nationalism become powerful tools for shaping public opinion. In Pakistan, both are currently playing a central role in rallying support and rejecting Indian claims. And it seems a similar dynamic is taking place across the border too. When these forces dominate, logic, evidence, and rational discussion lose their value.

Think you are not getting the point. India doesn't care about narrative or what UN, Europe, US or UK think. It has sized up the enemy. It has decided to end status quo for good. It will end up saving Pakistan from army and India from terrorists.

WIsh safety, good health and courage for all those close to the border. Stay safe and take precautions. Its easy to preach safety from anywhere else. That's all we could wish. Indian forces are doing their duty to protect Indians. Hopefully they continue doing well.

Mate you live in a bubble...your media can fool you or rather you choose to be fooled..but rest of the world has moved on....yalda hakim alone and rest of sky news Australia is openly laughing at you. Former UN ambassador Niki Haley has called you a terrorist country .even your best friend has not condemned the attack..

Did you see your military forces in uniform stand behind an in designated terrorist to pay their respect and carry the coffin of some terrorists

We have zero expectations ot changing. Pakistani narrative...it has to come through education and rejection of Islamic radicalism...before modi came...India didn't respond to your bastard terrorists..did that bring about peace..now for every action your country will feel the pain ..will it change you guys ..probably not but your army will know there will be a price to pay and that's good enough to dissuade an attack for some time...when 1971 happened..Pak never dared to launch a frontal war ...when Balakot happened ...6 years of peace followed...let's see what happens now...

Jingoism will not cause harm to the public at the same rate as calling your terrorists militants or making a case for Turkey / Pakistan or insinuating that Indian army is exaggerating. This is war time. No pussyfooting of anti national. I say this even as someone who hates jingoistic handles.

Hats off to our forces. They have hit the targets quite well. I wish the key terrorists met their end rather than escaping. I can't even thank the government properly. My anger is such that I want more of the same. I don't think I'll get it and rightly so as logical heads up top will try for ceasefire. We can't risk them targeting civilians as they tried in the last few days. If they are not deescalating, we have no chance but to keep going for it. In one way I want that to happen but we can't have it all. Jai Hind :isalute:

We have plenty of Akash batteries at our disposal.  It's a mid tier system but effective af..  Jammu Perhaps was mostly saved by Akash.

S400 is well known due to the controversies around it. It also has longer range.

Akash and Prahaar arent that well known as they're controversial enough.

That's why many dont even know about Harop...the drone system which caused havoc deep inside Pak.

More is coming. Rest assured. But we will also have to pay a price. But gains will be irreversible.
