These two should be fast tracked to our T20I squads and groomed for ODIs too. Vipraj especially can be handy with the bat.

Bishnoi hasn't developed much since his debut and Kuldeep blows hot and cold far too often.

India is not deviating from ARs in 6-7-8. That helped in both T20WC and CT.

Vipraj, Varun Chakri and Axar should be the three spinners for T20I

Vipraj should be fast-tracked in the setup. He's the sort of player who can bowl 2-4 overs and can score quickly down the order.

Both should be fast tracked, ask rathi to work with Varun and bit on his batting and with Vipraj he can be in playing 11 in place of jadeja/bishnoi.

 

Bishnoi has not improved much, find it hard to understand how come Ind player do not improve after coming to intnl level and playing multiple seasons

There's a problem with AR tag in ICT, lot of 'experts' perceive specialist bowlers to be better than ARs simply because they cannot hold bat. Look at Sundar, he used to bowl in powerplay, middle and death before the impact sub rule, now he hardly gets a game and even then, won't get to bowl much. Same with Tewatia who hasn't bowled at all this season.

 

Its better for vipraj to focus on bowling and do some occasional hitting down the order. Even our tailenders should be able to bat like zampa, adil rashid etc

Yeah. Point should be to fill 9-11 with really really good bowlers like Bumrah, Arshdeep, Varun C.

 

Bumrah is prolly the best T20 bowler now (prolly ever) and Arshdeep/Varun C are in tier 1.

 

12 overs of these guys can kill the game.

 

Then 6-8 ARs.

Agree. Tewatia bloomed late and by that time he lost his spin and became more of a batter.

Vipraj Nigam will travel with the Indian team to Sri Lanka as net bowlers for the upcoming two-Test series.
