Media has reached Gatwick airport and looking for any frenzy relatives , crying  and asking for information. The reporter is more sad that no relatives have reached the airport yet to capture some dramatic scenes of human misery.  TRP Vultures

again its hard to believe such theories.the engines were fine pre flight,it was fine while taxiing and it was fine with no warnings at all while takeoff but suddenly both stopped working after 15 seconds???.

There's all kinds of speculation floating around. Some opinions are from people like this who may at least have some knowledge.

Others are just WhatsAppers who have already concluded it is sabotage. One of my WhatsApp groupies suggested within a few hours of the crash that the co-pilot was Muslim and so it was a possible sabotage. I pointed out that Col Sofia Qureshi is also Muslim, so why can't we assume that the Muslim pilot was like her? No answer.

Later it turned out that neither pilot was Muslim. When this was pointed out, with included obituaries of Sabharwal and Kunder, nothing but crickets. No "my bad, I shouldn't have jumped to conclusions". No remorse. No regret. No self-reflection.

First reach conclusion. Then find (or create) facts to fit those. And when proven wrong, don't admit to your error. On and on we go.

Our sentiments, both MSM and social media look for views and likes even in such scenarios. Absolutely insensitive vultures

That is not just reduced to WhatsApp university anymore sadly.

Showing the positions of Flap adjuster lever in a Green circle and Gear-up switch/lever in a red circle.

It is hard to believe that this is a pilot error. Their lives depend on it. I doubt them accidentally upping the flap instead of gear-up is the case here. Them doing such a basic mistake during take off is highly unlikely if not impossible. Besides these functions are separated between the pilots and not done by the same pilot considering the levers positions.

If this thing even was a possibility, the manufacturer would have identified it during the simulations and corrected it.

I think there is much more to it than what meets the eye. We will have to wait for black box data be analyzed and officially presented. Until then, I wont believe anything at all.

The life is so uncertain that I believe in doing good karmas and not bother what others are doing. Rest is all out of our hands anyway. The whole thing is so horrible to believe.

If I am a conspiracy theorist, my WAU knowledge says that the US Deep State was upset that Indian military hit their nuclear weapon stockpile in Nur Khan airbase and wanted to retaliate and teach a third world country like India , a lesson. So, they have used a EMP possibly shot from a satellite and disabled power to the aircraft and both engines after takeoff.  Your curious mind will wonder what a EMP is. Electro Magnetic Pulse , an electric beam in the UV range that can disable any electronic circuitry with pinpoint accuracy. It is developed in the Star Wars program secretly by US .

True , one channel was suspecting about who  took  the video from their window from take off till finish moving the camera. They were wondering why nobody is investigating them for sabotaging the plane

Lo and Behold! All speculation by arm chair experts will stop now.

Rahul SS goes one step ahead and even speculates what the possible outcome of investigation is going to be.

The timing itself suggests sabotage very very strongly.

What timing? There would never be a single instance in our history where you cannot use the same "timing" theory.

So was it fault of pilots and shabby maintenance procedure by Tata group or was it because of shortcuts affecting the quality and safety as mentioned by Boeing whistleblower. Or a combination of failure both by Tata and Boeing?

Tata group will do everything to save their name and neither will they say that it was a Boeing issue. The time taken for enquiry will be delayed so that the incident is forgotten by and large.  A cover up is most likely and both businesses will wash their hands clean of this tragedy which has now claimed 274 lives.

I flew to Canada recently on Air India Boeing 777 and can't help but think one of the aur hostesses was there. Very similar face. Obviously did not ask name then so can't be sure.

I hope it's not that girl. Very kind and professional

You have a track record of dismissing the obvious. For example, concerns against Islamist radical terror, possibility of Algerian boxer not being a female (later proved a male). When convenient to you, if I remember correctly, you declared brijbhushan as r@pist(acquitted by court).

Here as well it is obvious timing suggesting sabotage. People should be investigating even more the sabotage theory now given that you have an opposite stand. Lol.

Didn't hear the blast, after I heard the news, the layer of smoke was visible near the airport.

Dude you are lying through your teeth about my stance of those things.

And defending someone like him when so many athletes have recounted horror stories about him tells everyone the kind of person you are.

Powerful rapists getting off in Indian courts are a tale as old as India's independence. It's notoriously difficult to prove single rape cases in courts.

So proudly defending powerful political sexual attackers and believing them over so many hard working, patriotic, indian athletes is not the gotcha you think it is.
