It is pretty cruel to say, but every nation has expressed sorrow and support(ignore basement dwelling tolls). Even pakistan.  This is the lone trace of white pill in the last few days.

There's all kinds of speculation floating around. Some opinions are from people like this who may at least have some knowledge.

Others are just WhatsAppers who have already concluded it is sabotage. One of my WhatsApp groupies suggested within a few hours of the crash that the co-pilot was Muslim and so it was a possible sabotage. I pointed out that Col Sofia Qureshi is also Muslim, so why can't we assume that the Muslim pilot was like her? No answer.

Later it turned out that neither pilot was Muslim. When this was pointed out, with included obituaries of Sabharwal and Kunder, nothing but crickets. No "my bad, I shouldn't have jumped to conclusions". No remorse. No regret. No self-reflection.

First reach conclusion. Then find (or create) facts to fit those. And when proven wrong, don't admit to your error. On and on we go.

Modi bakhts are desperate for this incident to be sabotage. Shameless.

Air India should have been allowed to collapse. It is a genuine white elephant of that time. The organization culture cannot be changed without extensive job cuts.

Sad to see fireworks going on in neighbourhood coaching centre for some competitive exam success.

Even during corona people were bursting crackers when modiji did tha diya jalao event, even when people were dying in neighbourhood.

This kind of insensitivity towards fellow Indians, and then the same people claim to be deshbhakt doing all kind of dramas.

Its more convoluted than that. You have to look at the holistic picture.

Boeing has huge backlog of orders. You order something now and it will be delivered way into future.

Ideally Tatas would have loved to replace old gov era poorly maintained birds. But they had to keep them operational as there were no replacements. Repairing them or addressing faults was a costly venture.

Now Boeing started cost cutting 20 years ago. Which means there will be a lagged effect of these cost cuts. A 747 had a lifespan of 50 years. A 787 might have a billed lifespan of 50 years but might actually be 20 years (just an example). Plenty of other brands like mercedes are in same boat. A merc build in the 90s can go on untill 2090. A merc built today will do 20 years.

You look at air india reviews on new a350 and old legacy planes its chalk and cheese.

I think this theory will be proven to be correct if more 787 start developing faults. If they dont then its purely poor maintainance from Air india.

It might be a decade before the  truth comes out.

Actually he was hinting that it is a bad design to put those levers together. He is just a normal pilot.

Soothsayer Bageshwar 'Sarkar' trying to forget the sadness of not being able to see the tragedy by enjoying in Australia :((

Updates his initial assessment in light of better quality footage where RAT is somewhat visible.

Now believes it’s a dual engine failure and not some takeoff config error.

Precisely the problem in india.  Poor and middle class is too busy in day to day struggle while elite and upper class don't give a ****.  Just like  that kohli fraud ran away to London after such sad accident .  He was crying for that scripted trophy, but had no remorse for his fans.

People sitting in power knows this very well and have no pressure whatsoever to improve the conditions at grass root levels.
