ShoonyaSifar Posted September 6, 2025 Posted September 6, 2025 How poor have these pitches been. Teans batting on and on in QF on last day, now SZ batting for two full days, 450 is a norm, nothing for pacers or spinners. Slim chances of outright results. First innings lead is what teams care for. This at BCCI CoE. Where are the curators who could produce high quality sporting wickets? Suddenly feels like I am reading domestic cricket scores from an era we had left behind. rollingstoned 1
deepdynamo Posted September 6, 2025 Posted September 6, 2025 Its 2025 and BCCI is still producing these cringe roads in domestic elite cricket. Perfet reciepe to break the back of any proising fast bowlers and reward those tireless trundlers. rollingstoned 1

Still disappointed that he was not "Fast" or at least "Fast medium." He is fast medium. Bowls 135-140, in T20s can clock 143-144 as well. Gurnoor is similar as well. We don't have many fast bowlers, Tyagi has slowed down by 5-8ks, Umran too looks a 135-140 pacer with the recent video....Mayank too is now as quick as Kuldeep Sen. USP is tall and high release, so gets natural bounce. Though his primary skill is to seam the ball off the pitch. He isnt floaty with his good length deliveries like Prasidh. BacktoCricaddict 1
vvvslaxman Posted September 6, 2025 Posted September 6, 2025 Are they playing on roads? or small grounds. Seems like every tom, dick and harry are making runs.

singhvivek141 Posted September 6, 2025 Posted September 6, 2025 Sindhu scored 80 odd with the bat and took 5fer with the bowl. Just 21 year old but has given multiple such performances in FC. Sad that as he doesnt fit in T20s and is a permanent bench member of CSK (as they cant look beyond Jadeja), no selectors even care about his development as a potential next gen allrounder. tweaker 1

But will he cross 150 ? Tyagi's quickest was 145, he was predominantly in 136-142 range. He was trying to bowl quick, but his new action seems to have "caged" his flow. He may click 147-148 once he settles down with his action but I'm not very hopeful if he will clock 152-153 again. Umran's case, we need to see. I am keeping my expectations down with him as well. Coz the quick hip movement and the fluent weight transfer seems to be missing in the video. express bowling and tweaker 2

zaqw222222 Posted September 6, 2025 Posted September 6, 2025 These matches are happening at BCCI Centre of Excellence and they have served these highways. At least center of excellence should have good pitches express bowling, ind_hyd1 and cowboysfan 3

Hardly bowled anything over 143 kmph in the whole tournament (may be just couple of balls) , but wont be surprise if he takes the same route of cutting down the pace. In last few years Ind has preferred 135-140ish kmph bowlers in the t20i side. and may be on effort ball touch early 140 kph. Edited September 9, 2025 by tapandrun
