You should not assess team's quality by "one off" encounters. Based on that Afghanistan ODI team >> England team astehy beat them in last two ICC tournaments.  Afghanistan > Ausralia and NZ as they beat them in the world T20.  I am not sure if you have seen Pakistani batsmen lol Rahane at this age would easily be better than any of them.

I totally agree ! On paper India is the much better side. They should beat Pakistan in every format easily but T20 by it's nature means anything can happen

Finals is supposed be in Eden I think unless Pak qualifies then Colombo will be the venue.

India and SL are joint hosts next WT20.

India will never let finals to be moved outside India. Even ICC will not want that with all sponsors etc for sake of Pakistan.

Also, I guess it will be in Modi stadium and not eden.

So this is the new talking point, that moving our home Asia cup out of India is Pakistani propaganda?

 

So why are we playing our women world cup match against Pakistan in Sri Lanka despite us being the host for the world cup?

2018 was done because there was no Hybrid model arrangement and

Pak had travelled to India for WT20 in 2016.

Nah, we should have hosted it in India. Knowing those guys, they themselves would have pulled out to get back at us for spoiling their CT, and cited security threat, fine for us. 

 

This would have become a precedent for us to host all future events without any hybrid nonsense.

 

Why should we even accept hybrid? India is a safe country which regularly hosts big events, international ones be it sports events or concerts (like Coldplay this year).

In contrast Pooks can't even play their PSL games in Peshawar or Quetta, and have to transport players in military convoy trucks for their international games, like a warzone.

 

There is no comparison between the 2 countries, by making these compromises, continuing Wagah circus, we are giving them an impression that they are our equals and that further feeds their ego and makes them do more gandmasti at our expense.
