LHBs are disproportionately represented on the list, are they more clutch in general in KOs?

Even from other teams, you have Lloyd (1975 final hero), Gilly, Dada (Nairobi final), Fakhar, Head.......and if you include SFs/QFs, you have Jayasuriya, Anwar, Yuvi, Raina, Dhawan, Sanga, Trescothik, Hussey, Bevan.....

Man.. Gambhir might be a clown and has his faults but those two knocks in 2007 and 2011 were legendary and should have got him man of the match in both those finals..

Kohli’s MCG knock and Tilak’s knock yesterday are my top 2. High strike rate requirement in challenging conditions against good bowling in a low turnaround game like T20 is special. Also given the pressure stakes of the games.those 2 are the best of all time.

special mention to: Gambhir and Rohit in 2007

Gambhir is the most clutch batter :hatsoff:

Top scored in 2 ICC tourney finals - 2007 WT20 final and 2011 WC final. Also scored a 50 in 2011 WC QF. Unfortunately he didn't play too long - played from 2007 to 2012 and didn't get an opportunity to play in multiple tourneys.

Another clutch batter was Raina. Quite underrated and showed up in almost every knockout. Even his record in IPL knockouts is otherworldly. Raina is the sort of player you would want to have in the team.

Another guy is Sourav Ganguly

In the 2001 CT final he made 117. Sachin 69.  INdia should ahve won that when NZ was 132/5. But Cairns had other ideas

Also in  Indpendence cup  in the third final against pakistan India made history by successfully chasing 300 total for the first time   Ganguly made 124  and Robin singh 82 Sachin 41

Ganguly and Sachin played very slow for the hundreds in the end. This was the cause for loss. It should have been above 300 score instead we settled for 278.
