But we have beaten Australia W in a WC Semi in 2017 before as well that too away from home. This is just me keeping emotions aside.

That Australia was also near invincible T20 was new then, not everyone took it seriously. Zim beat that Aussie team in group stage, Pooks also in Super 8s. Also not full strength, Ponting missed out due to injury. Edited October 30, 2025 by Gollum New guy, raki05 and nevada 2 1

Grace Harris here as well(best finisher in the Women's game currently).. not taking anything away from this win though ...But 2007 Australia was a different beast man especially in KO's.. and that assualt by Yuvi after a usual Choke esque start by India will always be special imo. That was a rarest of rare KO Win by India against Aus too..
vvvslaxman Posted October 30, 2025 Posted October 30, 2025 Somewhat similar to India's first ever 300 chase Jemima = Ganguly Harmanpreet = Robin singh RIcha cameo = Sachin cameo Kanitkar = Amanjot sage and nevada 2
maniac Posted October 30, 2025 Posted October 30, 2025 This is definitely the goat innings in women’s World Cup . Gollum and raki05 1 1
maniac Posted October 30, 2025 Posted October 30, 2025 I don’t follow women’s cricket closely apart from some prime matches like today’s game . Is Smriti Mandhana a choker? Gives me the vibe, I have seen her couple of innings though; she is excellent but never seen her turn up in big games Harmanpreet is good. raki05, Gollum and Lord 1 2

Her dismissal was controversial. There was a spike. But i don't think it was a bat touching the ball. It was way down the leg side. She did well. NZ match was a must win match. She did well. That was a big game too.

Her last ODI cap was 2016 Her T20 record is not much better , an average of 22 highest score 64 A couple of WPL innings doesn't make her one of Australian finest . Mandhana, Kaur and Rodrigues play innings Harris can only dream about in her wildest dreams.
figo6762 Posted October 31, 2025 Posted October 31, 2025 Best in recent memory .. the opposition matters ..
