Why one year bro? Amritkaal started a decade back, abhi tak UK mein kya kar rahe ho? Come to India and enjoy detergent milk, palm oil paneer, ethanol blended petrol, fake cough syrup, sewage water on pavements, 1000 AQI, 50 degrees heat, like the rest of us. Kya sahi bol raha hoon na @Lone Wolf @straighttalk @New guy @Mariyam @MechEng, high time all videshi ICFers return to the motherland. It is clear they care so much about the country and its politics.

This is a Purana GHisa Pita argument of non-intellectual debate with low hanging fruits of low IQ level, the same that Matmaa did with the bahari politics. Most ICF posters have lived in India before and have migrated abroad and are  commenting on the politics. We are still invested in india in Family and are looking for india to win. Don’t reduce the debate to a binary like this. you are just bummed out because BJP won in Bengal.

Those living outside are out of touch with reality. Kuch nahi badlega India mein just because of some election.

Bengal Renaissance. Nothing short of that is what I expect.

Seeing some genuine optimism among Bengalis.

Personally, I think elections never trigger a fundamental shift in society.

They are false signals at worst OR outward symptoms of shift that is already in progress.

Only time will tell what.

The usual playbook... TN's own Balen Shah

Boss, double digit growth (already #2 and growing almost twice as fast as Maha), poised to become India's number 1 state by end of the decade, envy of rest of India. And they threw it all away just like that.

Tamils deseve all that is in store for them.

Fair enough, but TMC government in Bengal in 15 years was so bad with everyday news of atrocities, it was natural to root for BJP there.

I am not bummed out because BJP won in Bengal. But I am not expecting any drastic change either.

Yamuna cleanup, landfills cleanup (upto 90%) -

Yamuna to also have clean and clear water.

Both these things were not considered possible earlier.

BJP's win in Bengal is well deserved. And TMC deserve to get booted out just because of the post poll violence they did last time, goon party. Mamata started out good, was the need of the hour in 2011 (the guts and spirit it took to take the fight against Left to the streets and finish them forever is admirable, irrespective of what you feel about her today) but she became a burden within 5 years. Let us hope BJP does better. The thing I am most looking forward to is kicking out bastard Kanglus.

Still can’t get over how that joker Vijay won :wall: unless it’s some chanakya strategy by Modi-Shah, doesn’t reflect well on the people of Tamil Nadu.

I believe brains of entire generation have been fried by social media.

Assam, Bengal, Tripura ab BJP ke control mein. Most of NE is also on the same page.

Time to solve this Kanglu problem for once and for all. Like pests, they have spread to all corners of our house and taken their disease, need to be ruthless against them. Deport all of them, if you need to show some military firepower against BD in the process, so be it, no sympathy for that country. This thing should get sorted out asap. Uske baad BJP ko agar next 50 years Eastern India mein raj karna hai toh karo, I will endorse that. Bas bahut ho gya, can't take one more minute of knowing that we have a few million Rokibuls roaming around in our streets.

I am still in shock. I thought we were past the era of having filmstar CMs. Moreover, this joker has zero body of work in politics, civil society, philanthropy, or anything worthwhile.

Tamils deserve to be relentlessly mocked by ROI for next 5 years. Even Pawan Kalyan ko deputy CM tak seemit rakha, is joker ko seedha CM !!!!

PK had political experience of 10 years full time and 5 years on and off before getting the deputy CM post.  He is a great orator.

Vijay has  none of these skills.

That makes today's result even worse. Biggest political own-goal I have seen in a long time.
