Hope they keep stats on how batsmen bat in the last 10 overs in the coming days with new rule change of one ball from 34th over till 50th over. Reverse may come into play. Imagine king of reverse Shami not playing in this period.

They just don't have the skill to compete in these conditions.

No doubt smart phones and SM frying the brains of Aam junta. Can't rule out the impact cricketer. You know what you don't hear anymore. He has a good cricketing brain. 

 

Today was also a good example. They just applied themselves more and score some runs. There is a reason T20 is T20 and test cricket is test cricket. Aussies in their Hey day in early 2000s used to score at 4 per over. But even they changed their game depending pitch and opposition.

Modern Gen aka Gen Z people are dumber than all their predecessors. Cricketers are just a jock subset of that already dumb generation. 

Every previous gen. think of the next gen in the same way. That new gen is weaker, dummer, less enduring ......

Smith having Carey stand up to Nesar was one of the critical move.  It doesn't look good on bowler. But that was a legitimate tactic.

NZ is a street smart team always. They won't fall under that category. You can just outskill them. They generally don't do stupid things. SA is also a disciplined team in Tests

With Eng:: Eng have never done that well in WC but changing how they were batting in white ball changed things for them they won t20 wc and Odi wc in v.short time.

 

They are trying to replicate the same thing in test which is not working now, it started well with series in Pak. but playing over aggressive and everyone sold on it they are no able to do realtime rectification, test is longer format. They need to dial down a bit and not to encourage the failures due to being overly agressive.

 

Right now they do not seem to have the ability of what they are hopping to play. 

 

In white-ball during that period they were batting like it never happened it white-ball ever before. they were batting till 8. Batters like moeen ali was batting way down.

Every1 was v.capable hitter,  and were able to access different/unusual part of ground vs both pace and spin.
