Otherwise unsustainable. 1.4 billion people who depend on dairy as primary protein source, what to do with excess/dry bovines? One may be vegetarian and/or an animal lover, but look at it practically. How many of you folks contribute towards gaushalas taking care of old cows and bulls? Anyway, funny to see USA based ICFers lecturing Indians about beef, when their own countries have that as primary protein source. Imagine starting this line of argument in Texas !!! Anyway we are digressing here. I just wanted to point out what a pos Sangeet Som is. Hypcorite runs a beef export based business but targets beef consumers in India. That is allowed. Zero_Unit Posted January 3 Posted January 3 Good, good, at this rate, in the near future we will just play cricket with India A, India B, C, etc. The moment India got control over cricket, politics have infiltrated cricket like never before. Which is a extremly bad thing and disgusting - for some reason some of the members don't realize that cause national pride. Manucrick 1

Raza who is a pak origin also played in IPL. Moen Ali too ... I don't really understand all these political nonsense when it comes to sport. Either play the sport or play politics, stick to one if you ask me, not both. bsriharsha 1

Clearly they spent that much on a player based on some team combination/strategy - which they could have shifted their focus somewhere else. Not saying banning players left and right is ok, but if they wanted to, Should have banned before the bids were done - as if nutbagery wasn't going on in BD prior to the bid. This is wrong from BCCI to impact a team just because politics.

They are merely using these useless shenanigans to distract people. It is a fall back mechanism. Fizz would likely have been booed if we played. Need to cancel the BD series too.

Speaking of the WC, the tickets are dirt cheap compared to the one in USA. Like under 5-20$ cheap!! FIFA wc, forget about it, you need to spend your whole paycheque (or in come case, a whole month pay) to watch a regular match, lol.
jf1gp_1 Posted January 4 Posted January 4 BD now wants all T20 matches moved from India to SL. I say well done. Now I want to see what BCCI does. They accepted pcb bossing them around I don't see any reason why BCB can't do it.
Lone Wolf Posted January 4 Posted January 4 BCB is taking a rational call.. it was always on the cards after this. The Wankhede game vs Nepal is not happening. Either all games in Eden and round 2 games in SL

India boycotting Bangladesh on that basis is not the right thing to do. Edited January 4 by rkt.india Zero_Unit 1
Gollum Posted January 4 Posted January 4 Sri Lanka actually carried out a genocide of Tamils in our neighborhood, killed so many Indian fishermen, continue to do so even now. Didn't see BCCI being proactive wrt Lanka. vvvslaxman 1

This part worries me. There is no uniform standard.

Govt and all sports bodies should have a uniform stand. Lord 1

BD is suppose to play 4 matches in WT20 at Eden Garden. What will happen to those matches.
RajBan Posted January 4 Posted January 4 (edited) BCCI needs to be kicked in the behind hard. They have allowed BD cricketers in the auction when the Islamist student wing were giving all kind of threats to India and Younus sharing maps of North Eastern states with Pak. Now once they have included them for commercial reasons as they need the BD TV money, they can't eliminate the player on flimsy political grounds and then put the entire onus on KKR/SRK. The people of Bengal and Assam are not chuti.. that they won't realize these are cheap politics based on upcoming elections. BCB has every right to get their matches shifted and BCCI has no option but oblige now as they have falsely admitted that mustafizur has been eliminated based on security reasons. This also gives undue space to F grade political hooliguns like Samgeet Som but BCCI has now become a rogue body to understand that. Edited January 4 by RajBan Lord 1
