Trichromatic Posted January 4 Author Posted January 4 Back in late 80s and 90s, BCCI took on govt and Doordarshan for their rights. What has happened to this board now.
singhvivek141 Posted January 4 Posted January 4 1. Releasing Fizz seems immature now. Either he shouldn't have been selected in the first place, or should have waited for this IPL season before releasing him. BCCIs stance is poor here. 2. India govt is still supply energy and food to Bangladesh, it makes no sense to pause one individual player while the govt to govt connect is still there. raki05, Manucrick and Lord 2 1

Otherwise unsustainable. 1.4 billion people who depend on dairy as primary protein source, what to do with excess/dry bovines? One may be vegetarian and/or an animal lover, but look at it practically. How many of you folks contribute towards gaushalas taking care of old cows and bulls? Anyway, funny to see USA based ICFers lecturing Indians about beef, when their own countries have that as primary protein source. Imagine starting this line of argument in Texas !!! Anyway we are digressing here. I just wanted to point out what a pos Sangeet Som is. Hypcorite runs a beef export based business but targets beef consumers in India. Do we not have any pigs in islamic country. There are many hindus who dont go to temple daily like christian and mislims shall we break all temples. If something is classified as sacred why we are having debate on that. singhvivek141 1

Raza who is a pak origin also played in IPL. Moen Ali too ... I don't really understand all these political nonsense when it comes to sport. Either play the sport or play politics, stick to one if you ask me, not both. Lol he is banned because of being bdeshi muslims as their countrymen arr burning hindu alives and these pos are not even reacting to it.…. Dont give religious angle to it. You can debate on decision but stop painting religious angle.

No fan of hakla, but SRK probably doesn't even knows about this phony dude existence who is running a hate campaign against him If he is so irrelevant why libus and people over here getting triggered. I have seen people gone mum on daily outrageous attack on hindu religion. Few political party even would like to eradicate the entire sanatan itself . Looks like hindus never have shatrubodh, they made fun of their own people for some silly statement passed against individual by giving it religious angle and then when hindus will be massacred same people cry hindus dont have shatrubodh why they are not doing anything. Lol we have flippers allaround, look if you are in religious battle there is no wrong atleast for abrahmic faith. They defend anything for their religion whereas hindus keep singing bad hindu vs good hindus. Keep doing it but then dont cry whatever is happening in bd. Suhaan, singhvivek141 and rollingstoned 3

BTW If cow is identified as sacred animal as per article 48 and cow slaughter has ban , what issue anyone has. If someone will sill kill cow they have to face legal action. Didn't see BCCI being proactive wrt Lanka. This is a false equivalence. At any rate the notion that because you let one thing go you should allow everything else to go is specious. Didn't you want us to not play the toygers even last year? If this is a step in that direction why are you splitting hairs and trying to imagine a moral crisis when none really exists? Sports should be apolitical but it doesn't exist in that sort fo idealistic vacuum, never has. Edited January 4 by rollingstoned Suhaan and raki05 1 1

NameGoesHere Posted January 4 Posted January 4 What I find insulting as an Indian is that our political leaders think they can fool the public by taking a populist step. Evoking cheap sentiment when they don’t seem to have a real course of action against BD There’s systemises mistreatment of Hindus in Bangladesh? Let’s ban one IPL player! it’s laughable. And it undermines our gravitas as a country. putrevus, raki05 and Manucrick 1 2

Not sure what is sensitive here? It is happening in soem other country. We are not USA lol This is just a political weapon. We are acting as if minorities were not treated badly in other countries. Australia has always been racist country. We still hire them coaches, in the IPL. Srilanka vs Tamils.

Trust me racism in USA or bigotry in India etc is not the same as anti-Hindu hatred in Pak-Bangla type countries. Don’t monkey balance please. India while has a lot of issues is not even 10% of the sht-hole these countries are. also they are not just neighboring countries, the guy who is lynched is a Bengali speaking Hindu from Bangladesh that’s as Indian as it gets despite the passport. Also please don’t be blind to ignore what goes on there as well. They just incarcerated a ISKCON monk. Do you know of any terror incidents involving ISKCON? rollingstoned and raki05 1 1

If Indians feel so heavily about the Hindu population of x y z country, why not open up the border to let them in legally to give them shelter? No? Then BCCI and the government should not butt in about things that's going on with another country's population which has nothing to do with cricket, neither should the Indian population. I mean ffs, India is giving refugee to their x prime minister and then turns around and tells a cricketer (who btw is a very polite person - never seen any stupidity by this individual on the field or off the field) who has nothing to do with attacks on individuals, that he can't participate because of crowd anger - which in return you are signaling to the world that you can't keep that player safe and secured when a world Cup is couple months away ... This just reflects poorly on BCCI and India.

At the end of the day he is Bangaldesh citizen. Not Indian citizen. There are many crimes, corruption happening in India. Let us focus on those things first before worrying about guys in other countries.
