BCCI as a host for both IPL and T20 WC is a common denominator. If they can kick out a player discretely from IPL particularly after auctioning that player just 2 weeks back when political tension with BD was at it peak, then BD admins have right to take a call that satisfies their ego. As I said BCCI did not think this through and their stances keep on changing based on money and personal whims. 

 

There should have been an unified stance with a IPL OC meeting that no BD players should be part of auction. They are now trying to deflect the blame to KKR as well as LSG that why they have bid for that player in the first place. If we are not able to understand how BCCI has been a mess when it comes to decision making or taking a strong stance, they that's a bigger problem. If BCB forfeits these matches come February , while it might be portrayed as suicidal as many, I will acknowledge them to be more gutsy than what BCCI has demonstrated in last 8-10 years. Even till these day they can't do without a fixed schedule of Ind-Pak in a tournament.

That decision is the reason we're in such a situation. If we had someone like Srinivasan at the helm, we would've laughed off PCB when they floated the idea of India playing their Home match away from home in SL. That should've been non-negotiable and a non-starter. They should've simply said No and refused to discuss that point.

It became India’s problem the moment india Med with East Pakistan after hundreds of thousands of Hindus started pouring in from a civil war in 1971. If India  meddled, then India has to keep East Pakistan or Bangladesh not to turn like Pakistan. and have for the sake of 13 crore Hindus in Bangladesh.

I wish there were 13 crore Hindus in Bangladesh. It would have been part of India then.

 

There are roughly around 1.5 crore Hindus in Bangladesh today.

Why next time? Why not now? Once the precedence set, there's no going back. You won't be able to put the genie back in the bottle. IMO if BCCI has any brains and self-respect they would refuse to travel outside India and ensure Pak loses points if they boycott the match. No need to argue or debate, simply put down the law and move on.

I agree with you in all that..but my point stays the same for sake of kicking out BD...ICC events are major events..and could get more weightage from even govt in providing security as they are more than just profit making events.. 

IPL is primalrily money making event..and security provisions may be different that icc events..

 

BCCI may even organize some U19 series with Bang U19..for ex..and lets say they may not be able to provide good security there..but it wont mean they cant provide better security for mens series.. 

 

and i dont care..what call BD admins take or not to satisfy their ego..its their problem..not ours
