After Rizwan, Babar Azam the new target of public humiliation in BBL, at the hands of Steve Smith

nothing wrong calling a batter back, this is a tactical move and will be used more and more as t20 game progresses more and it is controlled by data and analytics.

this should be seen as changing the batting order depending upon the situation, or taking out the bowler from attack after a bad spell/over.

but in case of rizwan and babar it has been v.bad bbl outing, they are overseas players and supposed to take more resposibility but they have not been able to do so they are batting ~100 sr so far in the season.

bbl was losing the popularity amongst the larger intnl audiences, think local on ground public has been coming and enjoying the game. but in last few yrs sa-t20, il-t20 its losing the attention of intnl audiences.

They made a statement that too want become popular again, but the issue was there already ashes going on and along with 3-4 other leagues are also going on so they do not have much choice and left with the players not playing ilt20, sat20, bpl hence only pak/sl players were the options.

CA and bbl already has played some pak players in the past , player like rauf, shadab etc... they might have contacted pcb or babar/rizwan/shaeen's agent to play ...

hence they got drafted with highest contract band.

have mentioned this accumulators/anchors can work in t20s only if all the resources are directed towards them and teams letting these players play the way they like.

but with overseas players its not possible and player have to play-out of comfort zone.

This 1999-00 Lillee match is gold. Wish we have the full match recording somewhere. Show the world how Aussies treated the greatest ever Pak team.

Pehle Lord's 1999 final mein nanga kiya

Phir Lillee ne

Phir 3-0 whitewash (Hobart test being my favorite :aha:) and CB series mein maar kaat

Phir jaake UAE mein Pak 53 and 59 all out, Hayden 120 wala match. Another whitewash.

BBL as it is was not a great league. Commentary was the only good thing plus grounds. Otherwise poor quality.  SA20 is closer to internationals. But they just downgraded it even further by hiring these two. These guys haven no personalities or game to attrack Australian audience.  In the history of Australia very few overseas players commanded attention as super stars. Jack Hobbs. Richards, Tendulkar, Lara, Kohli.  Pant is evolving.  May be Akram had some respect there.Even he is not at the level of these superstars

Best is how in every BBL edition, one Pook bowler is called for chucking, it has become an annual tradition now. Sometimes players themselves take initiative to call them out. Shoaib Malik, Hasnain, Zaman Khan, Ifti chacha, kisi ko nahi chorte bhai. It is almost as if they invite these Pooks to BBL only to pile on them.

Stoinis is even more notorious.. he called out Hasnain chucker couple of years ago... Which infuriated likes of Akhtar and their ex players and fans

Now he sledged Babar a few games ago... Mocking him after dismissal lol..:rotfl:

Pooks were crying in his CS

Yeah SA 20 is pretty great and BBL is so low in quality in comparison.

Though quality might improve as major Aussie players will play this later half.

They only bought him for international limelight isn't it?

Heard there are a couple of Baki sponsors of BBL
