cowboysfan Posted February 20 Posted February 20 I blame the pitches we have been playing recently, all pattas which didn't get us ready for these sluggish pitches.
The Realist Posted February 20 Posted February 20 Justice for Steve Smith? Flew him all the way to Sri Lanka just to carry drinks.
Mjcricket Posted February 20 Posted February 20 Looking at how Ind performed in the group matches, India's chances of qualifying for SF are 50:50. SA, WI and ZIM, they all can pose challenges. India's struggles against spin are really worrisome. Suhaan 1

AKane Posted February 22 Posted February 22 Would not mind us getting a kick in the pants before the SF. Will bring these guys back to the earth from the clouds.
BCCISelector Posted February 22 Posted February 22 South Africa look like the team to beat: six quality match-winners in their top 6, two genuine allrounders, and a solid bowling attack. A well-rounded team for all conditions. As for India: the batters come across as flat-track bullies who can only win slogathons. One-man heroics rescued us vs USA and Pak. Also the 4th, 5th and 6th bowlers need to do much better.

Other than slogs/flicks/scoops to fine leg he doesn't have go to shots. And now he's being too cute by placing weird fields and experimenting with team selections (Sundar over Axar). He's going away from what worked earlier. deepdynamo 1
deepdynamo Posted February 23 Posted February 23 WI vs SA is of utmost importance to us. SA must prevail in that encounter. Gollum and Ultimate_Game 2

Thurday is going to be a knife edge for Indian fans. SA vs WI at 3 PM IND VS ZIM AT 7 PM If things go our way, we can sign off with breath of relief & prepare for our final do & die match v WI with no NRR complications. Gollum 1

That venue is second home to Saffers now, already played 4 matches there.
