He has been pretty good in T20s and has a SR of 192 lower down the order! Generally you see these type of SRs for openers but Salil has such a SR batting out of the PP overs. Looking at his CI profile... "In the 2025-26 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, Arora smashed 125 not out off just 45 balls against Jharkhand. He finished the tournament with 358 runs from eight innings at a strike rate of 198.88, and his 28 sixes were the second-most in the competition. This IPL has unearthed a lot of potential batters. I'm excited about Salil as we don't have a wk-batter who can score quickly lower down the order. Till now Jitesh was the only option and he isn't someone you would want to rely on for long. That's the reason we sometimes have to drop our most aggressive openers to fit in a wk at the top. But if Salil comes through he can give us an option to try new combinations. Shubham Dubey and Aniket have been impressive too. Mukul will need to be a bit more consistent but another good talent. Not sold on Rizvi and reminds me of Murali Vijay instead of a natural T20 player. tapandrun and Lone Wolf 2

He was effortless hitter vs Pace with elegance and Power and timing. Mukul reminds of those ugly Pook sloggers we see in PeeEssL. Rizvi was always meh. The young CSK kid Kartik has some potential they should invest in the youngster

Has hit more 6s than 4s in his career and hits a 6 every 6.53 balls. Now if he can sustain this long term is a big question but he sure has a wonderful start and is surprisingly going unnoticed. Need4Speed Posted May 1 Posted May 1 (edited) Mukul hasnt fired since that miracle innings against KKR..he looks to hold the bat more like Tennis racket swing for me that is affecting his ability to play short balls..and it also affects the range of shots...and he is being targeted in that way by all tge teams.. Good for him and his development..you need to keep ironing out any flaws or make any technical adjustments if you need to excel.. Now Salil has come into limelight..good to see that..
