Exactly the same thing we saw with Kohli when he was captain of India and RCB. Both teams had no batting depth and were top heavy. Looked good in group stages and then collapsed in knockouts.

I still remember him not appreciating Vaibhav when he scored his debut 100 last year. Kohli atleast used to back and appreciate Indian youngsters on camera

Gill is just like Kohli as a captain and it's taking our team back to the old times. I would prefer Iyer as captain followed by Pandya or Bumrah. But Gill should not be the captain.
