2022 semi final did the same tuktuking against livingstone and adil rashid. Made 50 off 40 which eventually proved  not to be enough.

 

Same in 2023 ODI WC where he wasted the start given by Rohit. The reason we went trophyless for a decade was Kohli and the top order. If they had played the way our youngsters did in the recent WT20, we wouldn't have had to wait for more than a decade for the trophy.

 

And if selectors don't make a change to our ODI squad for 2027 WC, we'll see the same pattern and will hear about "one bad day", "30 mins of bad luck" etc.
