Our non-existent middle order (Iyer & Sundar) would hv ensured that. We already saw Iyer struggling to put bat on ball in the 1st two ODIs. In the 3rd ODI, while chasing a low total, he survived 2 to 3 close caught behind calls on short balls before getting to a double digit score.

Even my normie friend who barely watches cricket said Tilak seems defensive and unsuited for T20, given we have players like Vaibhav waiting in the wings. How can the selectors not notice his run a ball SR? He has shown good composure in a few winning chases, but needs to be more than a par score chasing specialist to justify a spot as a specialist T20 batter.

Offspinners are extinct in LOIs now, Saim Ayub is more dangerous bowler than him..Usman Tariq.. asikander raza..Getard Coetzee.. they all bring variations in play..if you are an off spinner bring some variations..Ashwin got them too.. Should be kicked out of white ball squads if your batting is average and you are easy spinner without variations.. put some hard work man..if you cant work on variations then bye bye
