A 155k+ pacer can breach the barrier.. but it happens on a random blue moon day. Depends on the pacer if he is feeling it. Express pacer usually operate at 155-156ks on their best days and if one moves the ball in that speed via seam then it's goodbye to the batter express bowling 1

express bowling Posted July 9 Posted July 9 (edited) The biggest risk with Indian express pacers is that some bozo will convince him to bowl 4 to 5 short balls an over because he has pace. And then his career will be over like Umran Malik. Build your game around the top of off stump directed ball at high pace. Bouncers and yorkers are surprise balls ( unless it's the death overs and yorkers are staple ) Learn from overweight Harshit Rana and don't be like him. Stay fit and don't drop pace. Bowl with full effort like we see with Bumrah and Shami near the end of their careers too. Your seam position is very good. Never let this change. And play as many First Class games as you can. Biggest loss of pace comes to pacers who don't play FC. Then you will have the match fitness and skills to bowl well at 155 k + at times and maybe even touch 160 k on a good day. Harshit bowling slower lollypops that too in the slot on a pacy Trent Bridge and Manchester was absolute disgrace. This is what happens when you play on roads. Mosher, Gollum and express bowling 3
